Founder and Principal Consultant
BioGuide Consultants was founded from Dr. Marianne Santaguida’s desire to help patients live longer, healthier lives by connecting innovative startups with the resources and relationships needed to transform and prosper.
Dr. Santaguida is a Ph.D. trained scientist with nearly two decades of experience with startups in Silicon Valley. She’s been involved in a spectrum of exits, including a large acquisition and an IPO.
Her first role was as a scientist and ninth employee at a startup named Stemcentrx, later acquired by AbbVie in 2016 for $6B. Dr. Santaguida played an integral role at Adicet Bio with the earliest stages of their allogenic adoptive cell therapy platform.
Dr. Santaguida then took on a business development role as the Vice President of Partnerships at Notable. Building on her experience in drug development, oncology, and cell therapies, she brought a scientific perspective to discussions with Notable’s strategic relationships.
Leveraging her scientific and business development experience, Dr. Santaguida recently started a role as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Bioverge, Inc, where she helps evaluate the technology of new applications and use cases.
